Disgusted by people in my line of work saying they were earning hundreds of dollars with ChatGPT? I assumed it was another over-hyped internet claim — the type you see in your Facebook and YouTube feeds with bright colors, bold headlines, and zero substance.

This is really where the majority of people in your shoes get stuck — but it’s SO simple.
The first gig I created was a title of “blog article writing”. This is what my gig said, word for word:

Now, here is the part that we all would like to know — how did I utilise ChatGPT exactly?
This is the text I type to ChatGPT when an order came in:

I would then:

Tidy up for repetition — ChatGPT will tend to repeat itself
Make it look good — use bullet points, bold important sentences
COPY AND PASTE THE GOOD STUFF — put it in Google Doc and send to client
This took me around 20-30 mins to write and edit each article including format.

Fiverr has a model called “Buyer Requests” where clients tell you what they need. It was a personally penned response to 10–15 requests EVERY DAY.
Trick 3 — Be Online
I was not strict about my time and left the Fiverr app open, responding to any message in a few minutes. Fiverr ranks you higher if your response time is faster.
My first order arrived on Day 1 — a 500-word article for $5.
Small? Yes. But it felt amazing.
Step 5 — Work fast and Ask for Reviews
It took me 3 hours to write that first $5 article — the client wanted it in 24.
Their client loved it, and gave a 5-star review.
That one review changed everything.
